The two words that sparked a movement. Food Broker is OUT. Brand Advocate is IN. It started out with our President explaining how an outdated term was not accurately describing the role that OMNI Food Sales plays in the everyday “manufacturer/distributor/retailer” relationship. At one point, Food Brokers “got you in” to an account, they brokered a deal, like a mortgage or stock broker would. But today Food Brokers do so much more than ‘get you in’. And OMNI Food Sales doesn’t broker “one-time deals”. Securing new accounts and distribution requires constant support and resources even after you are fortunate enough to get it.

Retail support, admin support, presenting new items, getting your ads accepted, tracking volume, forecasting volume/deliveries, distribution analysis, and competitive analysis are just some of the added functions…

In today’s uber-competitive marketplace, a manufacturer could have a 90%+ ACV and be up 200% vs LY - and still- your brand could be discontinued or reduced due to competitive/market/political/personal reasons. Brands don’t need a broker. They need an ADVOCATE. Someone who has and will do EVERYTHING in their power EVERYDAY for the next 25 years to help protect the base and grow that BRAND. Similar to how an Attorney represents their client to the fullest extent of the law, weather their client is innocent or guilty, is how OMNI protects the interests of its brands.
