The internet will gradually impact and potentially disrupt every industry in our economy.
Today’s leading food companies can choose to be content with what they are or they can look to the future for what’s next…they can choose to innovate. Some companies hesitate because of the upfront costs and the old-school “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality. But think about the consequences of not innovating. There is the risk of being put out of business by your competitors. Customers will ask “if you are really one of the leaders in your industry, why weren’t you one of the first to X?” Your employees, customers, and other partners will all appreciate you being a leader in your field.
