To know where an industry is going, you have to listen and learn where it came from and how it evolved. It’s not enough to be young, confident, and full of bright ideas. To be highly efficient, you need the wisdom learned from people who walked those paths before you.
A lot has changed in the supermarket industry over the years, but some things have stayed the same.
Do the right thing. No quick fixes. Build goodwill with others. Treat others with respect. Earn your reputation. Worry about being the best version of yourself. Be aware of the competition, but don’t focus too much on them. Cover your bases. Analytics. Remember to smile! 😃
